![]() ![]() IDK, I can't imagine how anyone thinks Hades wasn't ground-breaking, or even weirder just "fine". Engaging characters that grow, a plot that perfectly fits the whole notion of a Roguelike, and a story that I needed to see through to not just the end, but even beyond the end. They actually managed to make a Roguelike game with a story that isn't a complete throw-away, in fact, it was fucking fantastic. But the thing that really sets it apart from everything else is the dialogue and the story. Hades, as a complete package, is nigh flawless. I personally love hades, but its because of the story, and the depictions of the greek myths, and the art style and the music. If /u/goatlll plays a lot of rogue-lites, he probably got through Tartarus on his second or third attempt. And then as you play it, even after just a few attempts it gets much easier. Not the person you're replying to, but I think I might know what /u/goatlll means. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
